SendStation Unveils PocketDock Line Out USB for iPods;
Intros keyring dock
Frankfurt/Main, Germany — May 09, 2005 — Following the success of the PocketDock Line Out FireWire, SendStation today announced another member in its highly acclaimed series of thumb-sized iPod adapters, the PocketDock Line Out USB. It is the first iPod adapter on the market which features a standard USB socket as well as a 3.5 mm (1/8") jack, offering stereo line out from your iPod.
“The cool thing about USB is that no matter where you go, you can find the required cable almost anywhere,” stated SendStation’s Founder André Klein. “Just unplug a cable from a USB printer or scanner, hook up the PocketDock and you can instantly sync and charge your iPod.”
Featuring a Line Out jack which provides superior audio quality compared to the iPod headphone jack, the PocketDock Line Out USB is the ultimate choice for every DJ or HiFi enthusiast. In an effort to boost convenience, the included cables allow instant connection to an external amplifier or stereo system. The PocketDock Line Out USB is fully USB 2.0 compliant, providing transfer speeds of up to 480 Mbps when connected to USB 2.0 ports. Additionally, the PocketDock’s streamlined design is a perfect match for the iPod and iPod mini.
Due to customer demand, SendStation also introduced a detachable keyring dock which protects the dock connector and conveniently allows customers to always carry a PocketDock with them.
